Magic Mirror® Covid-19 Policy for 2022 onwards
Update: From 2022 - We are operating under normal conditions without any restrictions in place.
Please see below our Covid-19 Policy that was in place and will be put in place if ( hopefully never) ever required.
******
As the country slowly starts to reopen, we are adapting our services and refund policy to suit the current public health guidelines. We are doing our part to help Ireland respond to Covid-19 while still providing our Award-Winning & fun service for your wedding & event.
The different lockdown phases we have had and expect to have going forward limit the capacity of indoor events to 25, 50, and 100. We have attended events limited to 50 people limit in 2020 and they were still great fun.
While we are restrictions in place this means that our service will be contactless going forward, meaning:
Our staff will operate the Magic Mirror® i.e. start / stop
Props will not be available *1
The “Photo Signing” feature will not be available *2
The “Just Married” sign will be available for the couple only
Our typical “Gold Pole & Red Rope” setup will be minimised
Guests will be asked to take their own prints from the print station
Guests will not be able to touch the Photo Album or USB Photo Box
Our staff will wear a mask during operation time *3
Don’t worry about the lack of props. What makes our service great is not just the props, it is the great fun that we have with your guests. We are actual photographers, so we know all the fun ways to pose your guests and help them interact with each other.
Booking Fee Refund Policy
We have revised our booking fee refund policy during time of restrictions of indoor events. If there are currently no restrictions in place at the time of the events was due to take place, then our regular policy is in place.
Recall that our booking fee was generally non-refundable. We are more than happy to move bookings to a new date - Free of Charge
Booking fees will be returned in full if:
If we are not available on a rescheduled event date, we will return the booking fee
If the restrictions are up to 49 people and you want to cancel, we will return the booking fee
If a venue confirms with us that we, or any other photo booth or similar vendors are not acceptable for that date
If there are any other factors that mean that we are unable or unavailable to operate on that date
Booking fee will NOT BE returned if:
If we are able, available and allowed to operate at the venue on that date
For events of 50 people and above, we consider that to be a serviceable event will continue the booking
For all other scenarios, we will provide a voucher to the value of the booking fee that you can use for a future event or to give to someone else as a gift.
our other behind-the-scenes precautionary measures are:
New printer paper will be used before each event
When new paper is installed, staff will install it using gloves so there is no touching of the paper
The Magic Mirror® is cleaned regularly throughout an event using a 70% alcohol based cleaner instead a regular glass cleaner
Photo Albums and USB Photo Boxes will be put together with sanitised hands
When props are reintroduced, they will be deep cleaned and not used again for a minimum of 14 days after each event
If you have any suggestions on how we can improve on what we are doing, please let us know. We want to make sure that we operate as safely as possible for both our staff and guests.
Notes
*1 Props will be reintroduced on a phased basis, inline with venue policy. We will start by using props that can be quickly cleaned in between each photo session
*2 The signing feature will not be available initially. It will be brought back on a phased basis inline with venue policy. When re-introduced, it will be on a limited basis and the screen will be sanitised in between each use.
*3 Due to the noisy environment of a wedding and the distance between staff and the guest, we will often have to shout instructions or to get close to the guests. Masks are advisable for our staff in these cases.
